Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes divorcing after five years of marriage

On June 29, 2012, it was announced that Katie Holmes had filed for divorce from Tom Cruise after five years of marriage. This will be the first divorce for Holmes and the third for Cruise. She is seeking sole custody of their daughter Suri.
